UNITEN Career Week is an annual event held with the intention of bridging graduating students with the corporate world and offering a comprehensive range of career services for students.
The event have 5 workshop that had been organized
1. Career Forum

UNITEN Career Ambassadors organized a Career Forum with Dato’ Ir. Abd Aziz bin Abd Majid, Head (People Acquisition & Mobility) Tenaga Nasional Berhad and Mr. Han Jim Chua, South East Asia Recruiting and University Relations Manager, Schlumberger as the speakers of the event.
The topic of the Career Forum was “The Impacts of Digital Transformation on Future Employment”. This intriguing topic will surely keep your eyes wide open about the present and the future on employment. With everything happening around us now, will the impact of the digital transformation affect us more than ever?
2. Virtual Interview by Gen Youth
“Meet HR Personnel, Start Your Career Here”
UNITEN Career Ambassadors will holding a UNITEN Virtual Career & Internship Day by GenYouth so your dreams can come true. 🤩
GenYouth (GY) is a platform that provides support to the youth on entrepreneurship development. They create and organize entrepreneurial mindset, innovation and leadership events and programs for University and College campuses around Malaysia in order to exercise the students’ interest in entrepreneurship.
3. Virtual Workshop: LinkedIn
Mr. Koh is the Principal Consultant for ChangeDynamics Consulting with over 10 years of experience in leading diverse consulting and training assignments across different industries.
This LinkedIn Workshop will help student Primed For Success by teaching student How to harness the Power of LinkedIn in order to Build Amazing Profiles to Successfully Get Hired.
4. Virtual Talk by RHB
As a part of this year’s Virtual Career Week, UNITEN Career Ambassador organized a Virtual Talk by RHB Bank Berhad. The speaker of this event will be Ir. Amir Hamzah bin Mohd Amir (Head, Digital Technology & Engineering, Group Digital Transformation). The topic of the talk will be “Join the Polyglot Party – Professionals in Digital”.

5. Virtual Talk by Talent Basket
UNITEN Career Unit & UNITEN Career Ambassador will be conducting a Virtual Talk by Talent Basket’s very own JC Wong. JC is a certified trainer and the Program and Content Director for Talent Basket. She is based in Malaysia but due to her strong passion for human capital development, JC travels across the globe to run training for global young tourism professionals.
This event will give insight on young students and professionals’ role in the global workforce ecosystem and create a virtual town hall for students to gain clarity on their future career pathway and access to new opportunities available .
